Firm Advisor - Dr. Rebecca Gilliland, APR
Rebecca Gilliland is the advisor for Top Dog Communication. She is a Distinguished Professor of Service Learning and an Associate Professor of Communication at UIndy, as well as advisor to the PRSSA chapter. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her children, playing and watching sports, and being outdoors.
Account Executive - Autumn Mayo
Autumn Mayo is a junior communication major with emphasis in public relations with a minor in psychology from Vancouver, Washington. This is her third semester in Top Dog Communication and has had the privilege of working with The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and Arthur R. Baxter Branch of The YMCA. She transferred to The University of Indianapolis in the fall of 2017 from Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA in hopes of becoming a part of the Top Dog Communication team. In her free time she participates on the universities volleyball team and has played since she was in the fifth grade. Autumn would like to work for a public relations agency in the future or potentially start her own agency after her time at The University of Indianapolis.
Firm Director- Bailey Timmers
Bailey Timmers is a junior communication major with an emphasis in public relations from Cincinnati, Ohio. This is her fourth semester in Top Dog Communication, previously working on campaigns for SoIndy, The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and The Indiana Library Federation. Bailey is a proud member of PRSSA and enjoys networking with her peers who are also in UIndy's chapter. In her free time, Bailey loves exploring Indianapolis and spending time with friends and family. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in corporate PR.
Account Executive - Scott LaPoe
Scott LaPoe is a senior communication major with an emphasis in public relations. This is his third year in Top Dog Communication and has previously worked with SoIndy, Serving Success, and the Arthur R. Baxter YMCA. Outside of Top Dog, Scott has previously interned for the Pittsburgh Penguins working with the Hockey Sticks Together Foundation. Scott is also a member of the University of Indianapolis men's lacrosse team. Upon graduation, Scott hopes to work within the hockey industry.
Account Executive - Zoë Berg
Zoë Berg is a senior communication major with a double emphasis in public relations and journalism with a minor in creative writing. This is her third semester in Top Dog Communication and has enjoyed working on campaigns for the Alzheimer's Association and the UIndy Department of Communication. Zoë also works for UIndy's student-run newspaper, The Reflector, as the Editor-in-Chief. In her free time she enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her rabbit.
