Firm Advisor - Dr. Rebecca Gilliland, APR Rebecca Gilliland is the advisor for Top Dog Communication. She is the Department Chair and Professor of Communication at UIndy. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her children, playing and watching sports, being outdoors, and being somewhat goofy. Though directionally impaired, she loves to travel and has lived and visited all over the world.
Account Executive - Mallory Thompson Mallory Thompson is a current junior pursuing a degree in communication with a public relations emphasis and a minor in Spanish. While working with Top Dog Communication, she has worked with Prescribe Love and executed two grassroots campaigns for the University of Indianapolis (once as an account coordinator, then as an account executive). Mallory currently serves as president of UIndy's chapter of PRSSA and is president of Global Greyhounds (a registered student organization for UIndy students interested in Study Abroad). Outside of classes, you can find Mallory on the sidelines of a UIndy basketball or football game as a part of the UIndy Cheerleading Team or eating sushi with her friends and family. After graduation, Mallory hopes to work full time at a PR agency or be a part of an in-house PR team at an organization she loves.
Account Executive - Kaitlyn Stines Kaitlyn Stines is a senior majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations and a minor in sociology. She is proud to have worked with Stability First and the University of Indianapolis Department of Communication. Aside from being on the executive team, she is the treasurer for UIndy's PRSSA chapter. When she isn't on campus, she's somewhere reading the latest book she bought.
Firm Director - Marissa Maxey Marissa Maxey is a senior majoring in communication with a public relations concentration, and holds the title of VP for the UIndy PRSSA chapter. She is currently on her third year in Top Dog Communication—and has appreciated working with Hoosier Hall Pass, Prescribe Love, and Stability First as clients. At the moment, she works part-time as the Social Media/Creative Director at Plato’s Closet. If you don’t find her on campus or at work, she’s at home listening to her favorite songs or at a thrift store!
Account Executive - Emma Foutz Emma Foutz is a junior majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations, as well as minoring in Spanish and graphic design. Her past work for Top Dog Communication includes a grassroots campaign for the University of Indianapolis Department of Communication. Also, she is the communication chair of the UIndy PRSSA chapter. When she is not working at Barnes & Noble, she's reading her beloved fantasy books and hanging out with her two cats.
